Thank you for your interest in joining the Bargains on the Bluff committee! Committee members meet a few times before and after each sale to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible and our sale continues to be the best it can be. During the sale, committee members serve as examples to other volunteers with their hard work and dedication. Committee members take pride in the sale and really enjoy what they do. We have a lot of fun working together and of course, we get to shop first on Preview Day. Take a look below to see more details on committee requirements.
- Committee members work 6+ individual shifts (point system does not apply)
- Committee members get to shop around 10am on Thursday
- Mini Committee members work 4 individual shifts (point system does not apply)
- Mini Committee members get to shop around 12pm on Thursday
- There is a required shift to work on Thursday from 2-5pm for committee members. Mini committee members are not required to work this shift but can use it as one of their shifts.
- There are certain shifts that are hidden and only committee members can work.These count as regular individual shifts. You can sign up for these shifts via email.
- All committee members attend meetings before/after each sale as much as possible.
There are a few other rules on things that allow us to keep it safe and fair for everyone involved. Please reach out to us at bargainsonthebluff@gmail.com for more information. We would love to have you on our committee, even if only for one sale! This is not a lifetime commitment and you do not have to be a member of Bluff Park UMC to participate.
