Bargains on the Bluff
We are a Mommy and Me consignment that has served the Children’s Ministries of Bluff Park United Methodist Church and Bluff Park Preschool (formerly Little Imaginations) for over 20 years! When you choose to support our sale either by consigning, volunteering, shopping or all three you are supporting the mission and ministries of hundreds of community children as well as area charities.
What makes us different?
THE LADIES SHOP! We have a fantastic Ladies Shop each sale featuring new and gently used ladies clothes, shoes, accessories and more! We typically have a long range of sizes and styles to offer. What a great opportunity to not only sell your kid’s clothing, but also sell some of your items and grab some treats for yourself! Also a great time to stock up on (or sell) gently used maternity clothing!
FREE VBS! 50% of the proceeds of our sale go to keep VBS, our largest community outreach program, FREE for all! With the cost of childcare soaring higher each year, Bluff Park UMC and Bargains on the Bluff are committed to keeping VBS FREE so that we can not only serve our children with our fantastic program, but help their parents with the financial break! VBS is held each year in mid July and is typically 8:30am-12pm. Go to Bluffparkumc.org/kids to register and learn more.
BLUFF PARK PRESCHOOL! The other 50% of the proceeds of our sale go to the preschool for any of their needs/desires for the kids! They use it to purchase new furniture for the rooms, supplies the teachers need for the various projects the kids do, toys, books – whatever it is they need! The money they receive from the sale is a huge help to them and helps them continue offering such high quality education and childcare for your little ones!
PLAY CLOTHES! We now accept some clothing that would be considered “play clothes”. These are clothes that might have a small stain, slight imperfection, etc. and they’re priced accordingly! These clothing items will be marked on their tag, so you’ll know to be on the lookout for a stain/imperfection if you see it, so it won’t be a surprise when you get home! So many toddlers/young children go through clothes so fast – either by their seemingly unnatural rapid growth rate or because they’re so hard on them while they play or if you’re lucky, both! It’s important to us that we keep up the tradition our sale has always had – bringing down the cost of growing up.
